Hysterolaparoscopy

Hysterolaparoscopy, also known as laparohysteroscopy, is a combined minimally invasive surgical procedure used to diagnose and treat conditions affecting the uterus, fallopian tubes, and surrounding pelvic structures. It involves inserting a thin, flexible instrument with a camera (laparoscope) through a small incision in the abdomen to visualize the pelvic organs. Simultaneously, a hysteroscope is inserted through the cervix into the uterus to examine its interior. This procedure helps diagnose and treat issues such as uterine fibroids, adhesions, polyps, and abnormalities of the fallopian tubes, providing both diagnostic clarity and potential therapeutic interventions for fertility issues.
